Zambia has qualified to the 2015 Africa Cup
Zambia has qualified to the 2015 Africa Cup finals which will be held in Equatorial Guinea. This afternoon in Maputo, Chipolopolo beat Mozambique by a lone Given Singuluma goal that pushed the 2012 African Champions to eight points.
With Eight pints in the kitty Zambia are guaranteed at least a second position in their group even if Mozambique were to win in their last match against Niger on Wednesday since the deciding factor is the head to head. Mozambique would still move to eight points but would be number three on the log.

Sudan/Italy: Sudanese woman who was put on death row for marrying a Christian meets Pope Francis after traveling to Rome
Sudanese woman, Meriam Ibrahim, who flew into Italy this morning in company of her husband Daniel Wani and their two children Martin and Maya, met with Pope Francis at Casa Santa Martath inside the Vatican.
According to the head of the Vatican Press Office, Father Federico Lombardi, the meeting took place in a ‘very serene & affectionate’ environment, and Pope Francis thanked Meriam for her ‘courageous witness to perseverance in the Faith.’
Fr. Lombardi said Meriam thanked the Pope for his prayers, saying they provided great support and encouragement to her during her ordeal.
