The family of Bobbi Kristina Brown has reportedly agreed to take her off life support but will wait to do so until Wednesday, which is the three-year death anniversary of her mother, Whitney Houston.
According to the New York Post, Bobbi Kristina’s grandmother, Cissy Houston, proposed the idea to the Brown family over the weekend. The 81-year-old flew from her New Jersey home to join family at Atlanta’s Emory University Hospital.
Bobbi Kristina’s father, R&B singer Bobby Brown, agreed to take her off life support at midnight Wednesday, the New York Post says it was told by a Brown family member.
Filmmaker Tyler Perry, a close friend of the Browns and Houstons, helped the family reach the agreement, the Post says, adding that “he is someone that both sides respect.”
Bobbi Kristina has been in a medically induced coma since Jan. 31 when she was discovered face down in a bathtub in her suburban Atlanta home by her longtime beau, Nick Gordon and a friend.
